"The minute I heard my first love story I started looking for you,
not knowing how blind that was.
Lovers don't finally meet somewhere.
They are in each other all along."
- Rumi

Our Story
Maxine and Jon met through their shared love of the outdoors, travel, books, and many other passions; or more specifically, those shared interests helped them find each other across the wild and chaotic world of the internet. While they had previously been skeptical about the possibility of finding "true love," their first date left them both with dreamy eyes and racing hearts. It did not take long before Jon and Maxine realized that true love was a possibility after all and their friends started telling them they should be in advertisements for Match.com. They have lived happily together in South Minneapolis since 2010 with cats Bella and Talia and dog, Marlow. Jon proposed marriage to Maxine in February of 2011 after sending her on a citywide scavenger hunt complete with friends and family supplying the clues. After marrying, Max and Jon will head to Indonesia for their honeymoon for two weeks of adventure, interesting food, and tropical climes. After returning they both are very much looking forward to spending a long, fulfilling, and loving life together that will surely be filled with many surprises and adventures. But most of all it will be filled with a great deal of love, not only for each other but also for their wonderful friends and family. Every couple should be lucky enough to be blessed with the gift of such abundant and generous love.
